I am working at Works Applications - the biggest vendor of cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning software in Japan - as a Software Engineer at their Singapore office since October 2016, after graduating from IIT Guwahati in June 2016. I am a member of the four-member Security team that belongs to the central division and provides services and libraries that developers use to create products like Accounting, Supply Chain Management, E-Commerce, and Human Resources.
I am also an open-source enthusiast, and I have started many organizations and projects on GitHub. One of my organizations is Yoda PA, which aims to develop a personal assistant based on the command line. The project has been a part of the GitHub trending list. Some of my other organizations are stlmp (data structures & algorithms library similar to that of the Standard Template Library of C++) and IdeaTrackerPlus (an Android application to track ideas). More than seventy people have contributed to these organizations so far. Apart from creating my projects, I am also actively contributing to several other projects on GitHub.
I believe that one should never stop learning and improving, and for that reason, I prefer my Coursera full-catalog access to a Netflix subscription. I have taken more than thirty certified online courses on Coursera and Saylor Academy, and you can take a look at the complete list at my learning webpage.
When I am not learning or working on something related to computers, I prefer photography. Since you’re already on my website, I recommend visiting my photos site as well.
