I have always wanted to implement my various ideas by using different techniques and so that I could learn a lot new things on the way. I started jotting down my ideas in a Google doc every week; I added the projects only that I thought would help me learn something new, something that would be helpful to me or others, or simply something that I thought would be cool to have - even if I didn't have any idea how to go through with the implementation.
After the list reached 50-60 entries, none of which I actually started to work on, I felt the need to do something about it. Some of the projects that I read about online reminded me of the ideas I noted sometime in the past.
Then I had an idea of implementing a command line tool, and I thought of implementing some of my ideas in that tool. So, I started and now I am working on the same. Check out the project here!
- I would strongly suggest everyone to write their ideas somewhere, just so that you can track your creative levels. I noticed a significant increase in my creativity after doing this for a few months.
- If you have any ideas, you should actually try to work on them, but only if you think that it would help you learn something that would be helpful in the future.
