Realized I was optimizing for portfolio projects instead of learning. Building 10 half-understood projects is worse than deeply understanding one. Quality over quantity in education.
Online courses teach you tools but not fundamentals. Great for breadth but not enough for depth. A structured curriculum and time to struggle with hard problems is essential.
Using Windows Subsystem for Linux with ZSH is just amazing! Slower than that on Ubuntu, but amazing!
